Max E. Ammann writes a personal column for the Swiss weekly magazine PferdeWoche on the actualities in the national and international equestrian sport.
His 147th column with the title "Das erste "L'Année Hippique" 1943" was published in the edition 8 on 02.03.2016.
Während meiner zehn Jahre als Auslandskorrespondent in New York kam ich in schriftlichen Kontakt mit Oscar Cornaz, dem Co-Herausgeber (mit Jean Bridel) des Jahrbuches «L’ Année Hippique». Oscar Cornaz lud mich ein, in der 24. Ausgabe von 1966 die Nationenpreisequipe des USET vorzustellen. Ein Honorar gab es nicht, dafür erhielt ich von den beiden Herren aus Lausanne die allererste Ausgabe von «L’ Année Hippique», von 1943.
