ewb > Energiezentrale Forsthaus: Cleantec City 2012

Energie Wasser Bern presented the Energiezentrale Forsthaus at the trade fair Cleantech City in Bern (SUI) from 13.-15.03.2013.

The Energiezentrale Forsthaus in Berne (SUI) is a milestone on the way to a nuclear phase out. The new plant looks like a huge ship made of concrete and becomes gradually operational in mid-2012. In the beginning of 2013, it will take on full operation and guarantees as from then an even greater independence from other electricity suppliers by Energie Wasser Bern. This is made possible by the unique combination of a waste incineration plant (WIP), a wood-fired combined heat and power plant (WCHPP) as well as a gas and steam combined cycle power plant (CCPP). In addition a photovoltaic system on the roof of the plant produces certified green power.

Myriam Neuhaus was working as Head of Project Communication Energiezentrale Forsthaus and Besucherzentrum ewb. She coordinated internally and externally the exhibition stand of the Energiezentrale Forsthaus at the trade fair Cleantec City and was responsible for media, politicians and as visitors contact person.
