The opening of the exhibition "Collecting Worlds - Contemporary International Outsider Art - The Korine and Max E. Ammann Collection" took place on 23.01.2011 at the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, Kartause Ittingen (SUI).

Over 350 works from about 120 artists from the Korine and Max E. Ammann Collection are shown at the exhibition. Works from well-known artists as Adolf Wölfli, Scottie Wilson or Aloïse, a selection of Swiss Naives as well as newly discovered artists are giving a interesting overview on Outsider Art.

Korine and Max E. Ammann are enthusiastic collectors of Art Brut and Outsider Art. Their collection covers today over 5000 works from artists all over the world.

On occassion of the exhibition a publication "Collecting Worlds - Contemporary International Outsider Art" was realised and published. 

The exhibition will be shown at the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, Kartause Ittingen (SUI) from 23.01.2011 - 15.05.2011 and will travel thereafter to Erfurt (GER), Lille (FRA), Sables d'Olonne (FRA) and other museums in Europe.
