Expo.02 > Grande Scène - Arteplage Neuchâtel

Covered stage and partly covered public area.

The Grande Scène is a 2'000 m2 roof. Long, slanting metal props act as support and brace simultaneously for the steel structure. Underneath there is a latticework roof attached so that daylight can enter from above. A polyethylene membrane stretched over a wooden structure acts as weather-proofing.

> General use: concerts of contemporary music and some events during the Canton-, special and theme days
> Capacity: 4'000 standing places

Myriam Neuhaus was working for Expo.02 as Press Officer at the directorate events. She was taking care of the German and Italian speaking medias.
Ralph Ammann was Head of Events Arteplage Neuchâtel and, until 2001, Manager of Logistics for the directorate events during the preparation phase of Expo.02.
