Swiss Skills Bern 2014: Newsroom

The newsroom should enable a specific target group to get conveying information on the relevant channels, closely to the start and during the Swiss Skills Bern 2014. It was part of the integrated event communication.

The implementation of the newsroom was established in collaboration with the company Openmind Media GmbH.

The newsroom team was working in close coordination with the media department. The team was consisting  a chief editor, copywriters, social media experts, video professionals and photographers. In the daily editorial meeting, information and ideas of communicative content are discussed, so that the main themes and highlights of the day can be ensured. This internal and external content are then selected, processed, coordinated and shared.

The produced and compiled content (text, image, audio and video) are projected on the event-screens at the location. The same cross-media posts can be seen as a live-blog on the website and give an insight of the event.

The partners had the opportunity to implement the same live-blog on their own website, and thus spread the latest information during the event to their target groups.
