An article has been published in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung - NZZ with the title "Eine (zu) weite Reise an den Weltcup-Final" on 26.04.2006.

Als erste Sportveranstaltung des Jahres wird der Weltcup-Final im Springreiten von den Organisatoren gepriesen. Als ganz besonderer Mix, weil die weltbesten Reiterinnen und Reiter erstmals in Asien antreten würden und der Austragungsort Kuala Lumpur eine aus einem uralten Dschungel gewachsene Metropole sei.

Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
