Die weltbesten Reiterinnen und Reiter im Springen und in der Dressur erküren von Donnerstag bis Sonntag in Las Vegas die Weltcup-Sieger, beschliessen damit die Hallensaison. Die Schweiz ist mit Beat Mändli und Steve Guerdat vertreten, Silvia Iklé verzichtet hingegen.

Max E. Ammann was Director of the World Cup Jumping from 1978 to 2003. With network4events (former Editions Hippiques) he was responsible for the rules and regulations; he did the contract negotiations with the organisers, the sponsors and the TV stations. He supervised the financial aspects of the project and took care of the relations to the World Cup sponsor Volvo. He was responsible for the media and public relations and was the contact to the Jumping riders.
